PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method and a system for retrieving real estate, which provides a shortest time required for reaching a property from a start point. SOLUTION : The system (S) for retrieving a property comprises a plurality of means of : a property retrieval means (SC7) for retrieving a property to be reached within an upper limit of the required time when a transportation is used as a means to move from the start point to the property; a real estate retrieval means (SC8) for retrieving a property to be reached within the upper limit of the required time for walking (tb) when he or she moves by walking from the start point to the property; and a decision means (SC9a) for deciding the shorter required time for reaching the property between when walking to the property and when using the transportation for a specific property retrieved by either the means (SC7) or the means (SC8).
