The present invention relates to a method for drying the laver (wet laver). The present invention relates to a block form dry laver food and a manufacturing method thereof, whereas in the conventional method, the laver has been collected in the sea, cleaned, cut, dried in a rectangular sheet form and commercialized, the method of the present invention dries the laver (wet laver), uncut after being cleaned, in a regular block form and supplies the dried laver in an original form to obtain an economic effect. In the present invention, provided is the method for drying the laver (wet laver) which has advantages that equipment is cost-effective and mass production is possible, while conventional manufacturing equipment for drying the laver in the rectangular sheet form has difficulty in diversifying products because excessive expense investment is needed.
