Provided is a computer-implemented real estate method and associated system, said method comprising the steps of providing an online agent portal configured to allow a plurality of real estate agents to register respective agent profiles. Each agent profile allows an agent to list at least one property for sale, which is then associated with that particular agent' s profile. The method also includes the step of providing an online buyer portal which has been configured to allow a plurality of property buyers to register respective buyer profiles. Each buyer profile is generally configured to a) search through listed properties for sale, b) follow a property of interest in order to receive status notifications from an associated agent profile, and c) view a property history of followed properties. The method further includes the step of conducting an anonymised online auction for a listed property, wherein an agent profile is able to receive bids from various buyer profiles, with the bids indicated in substantial real-time on the property' s history in order of preference without a name of a bidder or a value of bids shown.
