PURPOSE : A method for manufacturing low carbon cold rolled steel sheets is provided to restrain strain aging usually taking place after plating steel sheets so that the obtained steel sheets have superior processability and shape-freezability in the pipe manufacturing process using the same.CONSTITUTION : The low carbon cold rolled steel sheet is manufactured by homogenizing an Al-killed steel containing C 0.03-0.05wt.%, Mn 0.20-0.45wt.%, S 0.015-0.020wt.%, P 0.02wt.% or less, Si 0.01wt.% or less, Al 0.05wt.% or less, a balance of Fe, and other inevitable impurities in the temperature range of 1100 to 1250deg.C wherein a ratio of S/C is within the range of 0.30 to 0.67; finish hot rolling the Al-killed steel sheet in the temperature range of 900 to 950deg.C; coiling it in the temperature range of 650 to 720deg.C; cold rolling it at a reduction ratio of 75 to 85%; box annealing it within the recrystallization range of 640 to 680deg.C; and then temper rolling it at a reduction ratio of 0.5% or less.COPYRIGHT 2001 KIPO |
