The invention relates to a method for removing at least one impurity from a vegetable preparation. The method has the steps of contacting the liquid vegetable preparation with bentonite in order to absorb the impurities to be removed and separating the bentonite with the impurities bonded thereto from the vegetable preparation, whereby a purified vegetable preparation is obtained. The invention additionally relates to the purified vegetable preparation which can be obtained using the method and to medical uses and other uses thereof.
