In order to form a laser coloboma in a pupillary block due to endogenous uveitis in children, in the presence of a light iris with a thin stroma, a single-step Nd-YAG laser iridectomy is performed in the areas of maximum iris bombe until complete elimination of the bombe. In the presence of a dark-brown iris with a dense thick stroma or in the process of infecting a previously performed laser coloboma, a diode laser application is applied on the iris in the form of a ring with diameter of 3–4?mm at the point of the planned coloboma in 2?mm from the iris root, without affecting the projection eye areas on iris, responsible for vision organ, and 12–14 days later, Nd-YAG laser iridectomy is performed in the center of the ring.EFFECT : method provides prevention of reactive post-laser syndrome, reduced traumatism of the laser operation and prevention of laser coloboma overgrowth.1 cl, 2 ex
