After removal of the bone wall between the auditory tube and the tensor tympani muscle semi-channel, the pretympanum widen by complete removal of the musculo-tubular bone canal from the bottom to the spoon-shaped process and from the top to the above-tubal pocket. Protiniculum is removed to a carotid canal. After the tensor tympani muscle removing, a bone canopy of the lateral wall of the pretympanum is smoothened from above from the articular fossa to the drum ring. Cholesteatoma is resected from the pretympanum from the tympanum ostium of the auditory tube.
