Provided is novel Lactobacillus paracasei GKS6 for mitigating metabolic syndrome, having an access number of CGMCC No. 14566. Also provided are a culture medium of a GKS6 strain, a culture method, use, a pharmaceutical composition, and an edible composition. A GKS6 strain is acid-resistant and bile salt-resistant, can effectively reduce the weight, reduce organ hypertrophy, lower liver lipid content, lower blood lipid, reduce liver enlargement, reduce liver function index, lower visceral adipose tissue and/or subcutaneous adipose tissue content, and remove body fat, and can be used for preventing and/or treating metabolic syndrome-related diseases, reducing obesity caused by high fat diet, and increasing the discharge of in-vivo fat to reduce obesity caused by high fat diet. |
