The tablet dispenser includes a container having an elongated shape, the container having at least two openings provided at end portions in the length dimension of the container; a drawer removable from the container and re-insertable in the container through one or more of the at least two openings by a sliding movement, wherein a storage space of the drawer has at least one compartment for inserting tablets by a user; at least two first magnet elements coupled to the container or the drawer; and at least one second magnet element coupled to the drawer or the container, and arranged to interact by a magnetic force with at least one of the at least one of the at least two first magnet elements in a first position of the drawer within the container.
